I just finished reading the first 4 volumes of the manga and I think overall it is much better then the anime, the only thing that is missing is the awesome soundtrack. I was very impressed with what I have read though, they don't get into that whole Incognito thing...which I thought was lame to begin with and the origin of the FREAK chips is actually explained, I think alucard's history will also be explained. Integral is also more laidback, I can't wait to read more of this, and I highly recommend it to other fans.

So its good? Sounds promising. I think Darkhorse have picked this up so we should all be able to see it soon.

From what I've seen, Alucard is supposed to be Dracula after all. He has a dream where old man Hellsing laughs at him and tells him Mona (or whoever that girl in the book was) is no longer hers etc.

I made a thread explaning the plot of the manga, but nobody replied and I got bored with it. Very annoying how it got licensed just before RandomManga got the scanlating finished. It'll take at least a year or two for the translators to get to the last chapters.

And the nice typesets will be missing to...

BUt the upside is that it's going to be a widly released Manga...
