More Evangelion spoofs

I managed to squeeze in the first episode of volume 3 of Burn Up Excess last night, episode 8 I think, well the one where the crossdressers return.

I noticed that there are 2 more (first one is the EL Heggunte from Burn Up W) Evangelion spoofs

First one, when both Rio and that crossdresser and giants in the city. The crossdresser is running (Eva style) towards Rio, he does a sumersult (sp?) jump (Eva03 does that I think I cant remember) and you can see what looks like a powercord behind him and his shoulders have turned all square and upright a lot like the ones off the Evas. I wish I had a picture to show you but no DVD-rom

And second one is when Nanvel is standing infront of her pink elephant invention and she begins to cry, it zooms into her face and it eeirly looks like Shinji ...

Whats with the makers of Burn Up? Do they like doing Evangelion spoofs?

I reckon they put the spoofs in there because BUX was released in the same year that EoE was released. BUW was released in the same year that the Eva TV series was released as well (I think). I'd say it was all done in good humour.

In the Slam Tank Part II ep. there is a big Eva spoof at the beginning of the ep. In the last 'Yuji's Additional Theatre' skit there is a small EoE spoof.

Is that the one where he's peeping into Rio's apartment? Wheres the spoof in that I must of missed it or maybe its because its been over a year since I watched NGE

The EoE spoof is on the 4th DVD in the 'Additional Theatre' in the last episode (I think it is the last ep. anyway). The first spoof I described is at the beginning of the second Slam Tank episode and it is the way that the events in the first Slam Tank episode are recapped just like that episode in the Eva TV series with the recap of the first few angel attacks at the start.

Ohh I see, I can sorta recall NGE having that sorta recapping.

Well I cant wait to see the EoE spoof on the 4th DVD, hopefully Ill get it sometime next week off my friend

Are you sure theres an additional theatre on the last episode? Is it after the ending credits if so I didnt watch it because I stopped the DVD.

The last additional theatre I recall was the one where Yuji is in the girls changeroom when they are changing into the school girl costumes.

Ohh and what old 70's ish anime did they do a parody on on the first episode of the 4th volume, where Yuji makes those mecha replicas of himself?

I can't remember if it was the last ep. or not and if it was after the end credits. I'd have to watch it again The spoof is a logo that appears in the bottom right (I think) of the screen that is styled like the End of Evagenlion logo (the one that had 'End of Evangelion' written in a cross-like arrangement).

As for the 70s-ish anime you are referring to; I have no idea.
