What characters do you dislike, or downright loath?

Oh how I can't stand Azalea. >.< I just wanna reach out, wring her neck and make Kentucky Fried Dragon.

As for dislike, gotta be Flameheart. At least his brother, Flamesoul, is good for entertainment value. :)

Azalea. It seems so completely unfair that after all the killing and destruction she caused, she'd be restored to her body. Sure, I know Orphen had to succeed in his attempts to save her or else the series would suck :D, but she wanted to go back to her original body, and after all she's done she just doesn't deserve to have her wishes fulfilled. She should have died.

The two short little siblings running around everywhere kind of annoyed me the first time I watched the series, but when I watched it again I found them a little funnier. They're only a little annoying, now.

Dortin and Volcan totally rock! You should see them in Revenge, they cause much more mischief and are in just about every ep, if not each ep.

She should have died. Well I can't say that I truly understood what happened in that bit. But it was the only way that Childman and Azalie could have both survived. Sure Childman probably won't have his memories of what happened, but it was the only way that both could survived. And I don't think that Azalie was really all that bad, she just got power hungry. And could you honestly say that you wouldn't act the same if you were in Azalie's shoes. She did everything for Childman and when her love rejected her she just wanted revenge. And when Childman - from her point of view - tries to burn you to a crisp when she's a dragon, it would only add to her rage. I think she was justified in here action to some point. The rest was just Power going to her head.

But as for dislikes, I would have to say Flameheart. He's such a Mama's boy. Down to the point that Mumsies has to do everything for him. Yes he's a good Sorcerer, but make your way to the top on your own, not with Mummy holding your hand all the way.

:dodgy: Speaking along those same lines, then, mob bosses who go around killing innocent people off in order to secure their power aren't really evil either. :)

Sure, she got power hungry. Sure, Childman rejected her love. But when you're dumped you don't turn yourself into a huge murderous beast and then attack anything and everything. And then when she possessed Childman's body, she cold-bloodedly killed off anyone that found out the truth. Maybe it's just me, but that sounds evil.

I hear that, Azalea crossed too many boundaries to gain any of my sympathy.

Hmm....Azalea wasn't that bad or was she?! I didn't dislike her at all. It was those two little idiots that that were chasing Orphen around that really irked me! Especially Volcan, ahh! They were just annoying and really didn't add anything good to the story IMO. By the way, did anyone think that Dortin was a girl the first time you saw this? I though he was one.

Not me, then again I'd been acustomed to the game way before I even knew there was an anime, so I knew Dortin was male. His character design doesn't suggest he's female though, so I'm not sure why you'd think he was. The name Dortin also sounds male.

I'm thinking that because of the voice. The english dub sounded like he was female, so I was kind of mislead there.

That actually confused me. At first, I thought he was a guy. Then the subtitles referred to him as a girl... (but whether that was their mistake or mine... who knows. I'll have to watch through the series again to find out if I wasn't just misinterpreting.) He kind of acts girlish, especially compared to his brother, and his looks are pretty ambiguous.

But I guess he's supposed to be a "he".

I'd love you to show me in which bit they refered to him as a she. I didn't see that.

I'd love to be able to find it again. I'm going to rewatch it sometime soon, and if I see it I'll tell you where it is.

Maybe it's just me, but that sounds evil.Well if you put it that way of course she sounds Evil. But I don't think she was as bad as it seems. Unlike the Mob Boss who kills for power, she just did bad things to get what she thought, was hers. Now in a way I think that Azalie blames Childman for what happened to her. He told her to become a more powerful sorceress, so she did that. It's just that her becoming more powerful meant that she became a big scaly Dragon. And if the Tower of Fang found out that Childman was Azalie and Azalie was Childman then her cause would be a waste. If you look at when Azalie was in the past with Krylancelo, she didn't act evil then, so the sword of Baltanders and her failed love was the cause of her actions. I don't think that Azalie's actions were justified, but there is a reason behind it. And that's why I don't think she's evil.

And Yes I thought that Dortin was a female. But also a male. Heck I watched the series straight though without knowing for sure.
