Tarot Cards

Is anyone around here familiar with Tarot Cards? I'd really love to hear what they can do and what the cards mean. It'll help a lot on understanding most of the anime.

From my (very) basic understanding, there are several patterns the cards can be laid out on. Each card position represents a different thing. Each card has its own connotations in a given situation. The person being read must ask the reader a question. The cards, after being randomized, are placed in the postions, and the interpretation commences. Ok, how far was I off? :D

Oui, I am a strong believer of the Tarot Cards. In the long run, Drizzten Is right, but when it comes to the details, then there are many corrections that could be made.

The different Layouts for the Cards reresent what the person is looking for. The Person tells the Reader what that person is looking for, and the Reader lays the cards in the required pattern. In Real Tarot, the Player will touch and/or shuffle the Cards because this leaves the person's Aura on the Cards. Without this, it willnot work. {That is mainly why these Tarot Reading networks on television are imposters^^} Each Card has its specific meanings and upside down, the Card means the opposite. Also, the surrounding Cards also Effect the meaning of that Card. It is not as difficult as it sounds, and it is very easy to Practice.

Oi, now for What they do! Tarot cards {unlike in the Fake television networks} are not for reading a Person's future. They are only for pointing out paths, desisions and outcomes. All the Tarot are Really used for is to Point out the paths that the Person has open {when dealing with that Specific question} also, the Cards ill point out thepossible outcome and how you can Either Avoid or confront the matter!^^ There's somemore details to that also, but I am sure you get the most of it!^^

:D Thanks for the correction! I had a girlfriend who read me once. I tried to keep up with her description on how everything worked, but she was too fast for me! All I remember was that I had The Tower in a particularly nasty place and I had plenty of Cups cards.

I don't think the Tarot deck Hitomi uses is a standard deck. It seems to have cards in the Major Arcana which are from the typical set and cards in the Minor Arcana from the Merlin Tarot

Iread tarot cards and i noticed that hitomi had beast and serpent cards and stuff like that, and they were in french, i thought this was a japanese show, but that wasn't all that confused me about it, She did some interesting readings though and she used the celtic style layout. and i thought that ws neat for her to use. I know alot about the tarot, there are 74 cards in atarot deck, most are minor and the major cards have more to do with destiny.
