How good is the anime compared to the manga?

I haven't seen the anime yet, but I was wondering if anyone has done both the reading and the watching and can tell me how good it was in comparison (and how was the dubbing if it was dubbed)

I have seen the anime and enjoyed it a lot, i am currently reading the mangas and they are also good, a bit more perverted, but theres nothing wrong with that, also it seems a couple minor story elements were changed...one thing the manga does lack is the cuteness of chi saying her name ;-)

i havent seen the anime but I know from expierience that the origanal is usually better, whether it be anime or manga.

Really? I personally found it to be the other way around in that the anime is more perverted. The manga is a lot more serious than the anime is. The anime also has some cute episodes just to be cute (the pantsu episode and the haunted house episode for instance). The manga has some Angelic Layer references that are not in the anime. I like both though.

I like the anime better than the manga, the manga was a really quick read and it didn't introduce some of the characters very well. Also There wasnt very much dialog. I think the anime is much more cuter! Though i still have yet to finish it. The manga kinda made me not interested in it for awhile, but i do want to see if the anime ends it differently than the manga.

well the manga was really straight forward and very detailed... the anime took it's time to make it a lil more enjoyable... tho lots of info was introduced in the anime that the manga didn't cover... but i do say that i enjoyed both

;) Chobits, the manga, is another awesome series from Clamp. In the manga, there is a basic story line, but in the anime there is lots of ROYAL side storys like when Chi takes a bath. I personally like them both the same, but hey, Ur the judge.
