Seriously, are they the same character or what? I find it hard to believe Rio has two close friends (who look like they could be sisters...) in Police Town's accounting department.

I reckon Rio made friends with Chisato later on. Miyuki was transfered after she belted her superior across the face, IIRC. That ep. was a flashback ep. that was set before BUW.

In Burn Up Excess, Miyuki is Rio's good friend who works in the accounting department of Police Town. She's basically everything Chisato was, with a different name.

Was Miyuki the one who was in only one episode, the one of how Rio joined up with Team Warroir?

Sigh I should get those DVDs off my friend and watch Excess again when I find the time.

Ahh, thanks for clearing things up The_NME.

Well in that case, Miyuki does remind me of Chisato and vice versa. But I reckon its just a coincidence, I treat Burn Up Excess and Burn Up W as seperate "series"
