Shugo's father seems a drunk, never really talks to him, and is always leaving. Rena's problems are technically the same, but its with her mother, and she misses her dad.

Mia's mother is just a plain bitch. No other way to put it. Though I don't play it often, I'll bite the hand off of anyone who threatens to take away my violin, let alone talk to me like that for having a goddammed hobby.

Anyone else see my point of veiw? Looks like in about 2008 parents start to get really bitchy, no wonder everyone starts the online games...

I'm surprised you didn't talk about Tsukasa's father, though. He takes the cake on everybody. (You don't think it was some "crazy guy" who tried to kill Tsukasa in the hospital, do you?)

Yeah those parents aren't exactly gonna win any awards :lol: but to me it seems like all of the .hack stuff (series/games/whatever else the might be) focuses on families like that so I don't think all of even most parents are like that. But of course I could be wrong and just be thankful I'll have my own house by then:rolleyes:

yes, one of .hack's theme is "young people playing games to escape parental abuse", its even present on all the platforms of .hack :)

although i AM surprised you didnt mention Tsukasa's fathe. he's got to be the worst, he wouldnt even buy (ok, SIGN spoilers)

her a bra. if you remember, in episode 21 or 22, theres a scene where Tsukasa stole a bra and a toothbrush. man, what a neglective father :mad:
