Chobits on TV

well, according to ANN, Toonzone and TechTV, the broadcast rights for chobits has been bought. by who? i dont know. well, heres a list of possible candidates:

Spike TV: has a chance
Cartoon Network: seriously, best candidate
Sci-fi: has a chance, but i DOUBT it
encore action/starz: like Spike TV, they have a chance

so all in all, i think its either Spike TV, Carton Network OR any of the premium channels. im leaning towards CN though

If Chobits goes to televison, it will be the first all-out romantic comedy anime on TV. There is very little sci-fi in Chobits and practically zero action, so it's something totally different from what is currently represented by television.

This is good.

EDIT: And I agree that AS is the most likely candidate.

Well if it's on Cartoon Network... on Adult Swim do you think they'll still edit certain "scenes" ?

But CN has done romantic comedies... if you could call Tenchi muyo a romantic comedy... :p

umm yea, as of episode 4, no scene was cut, and only one edit was made. that one edit was Haruko's "Oh ----"/ so yea, i guess they really destroyed it :rolleyes:
