Gradius V

Holy junk! I saw a trailer for Gradius V on IGN and grinned so wide my cheeks tore loose from my facial bone structure and ran towards the back of my head. I love Gradius. More specifically, I really really loved Gradius III for the SNES, at least until I sold it a year ago *sob*. I know Gradius III and IV were re-released a while back for the PS2, but Playing a new Gradius with upgraded controls and graphics is going to be a real treat for me and the 3 other people who buy this game. Seriously, no one buys side-scrolling shooters anymore, mostly cause they're harder than year-old Christmas fruitcakes, but I still love em! ;)

I think it comes out sometime early 2004, and If it's as good a re-imagining (as opposed to total remake) as the PS2 Contra game was, then I and the other 3 shooter fans who are reading this will have a hell of a lot to look forward to.

I can't wait for this game!! I love shooters and the Gradius series is definately on of the best series out there and Treasure, who is got to be the best 2D shooter makers in the business, is the developer so we already know that this game will indeed kick much ass!
