Gungrave, The Anime!!!!

I am very excited to here about this because this is coming from the man who gave us Trigun!!! I wonder if Vash will make a guest appearance on the anime?? This anime has so much potential to it. I played the game too. Anyone else here excited about Gungrave!? By the way, it airs in Japan on October 6. I'll be sure to check this out.

Theres going to be an anime? Sounds good, animation wise should be much better then Trigun, and action wise should be kick ass. Hopefully the gunfights are better then Trigun.

I'm there. So I hear it will be airing this October on Channel 12 TV Tokyo, a station that plays anime and has aired Trigun before.

The game I heard was disappointing due to the repetative nature, but the music (which I have) and animated sequences I heard to be good, so I"m looking forward to an anime of the same title.

BTW, what was the basic storyline of the game, and how closely will the anime be following that?

It isn't a bad series. Quite enjoyable. But there are better ones out there. I felt that the back-story took too long to tell.

Half the show was the back story.. I really liked it though, up until the last few episodes when it just got kinda wacky.

I am on episode 14 right now..pretty good. The only thing from Trigun that I saw in Gungrave were the Thomas's...those creatures that they ride around with from Trigun.
