Apparently Hibiya's husband invented the Angels and thus that would put the Angelic Layer and Chobits in the same universe right?

True both were written by Clamp but does it say anything about this at all in AL?

Never seen or read it though.

So would that mean that most other Clamp stories could easily be set in the same universe? :D

I havent read the manga but Ive heard about that, I guess Chobits and Angelic Layer could be in the same universe. But Angelic Layer would be before Chobits, because the technology in Chobits is more advanced then Angelic Layer

Also another thing in the Chobits anime Dragonfly's (forget his real name) mini persocom (forget her name) looks a lot like Suzaka from Angelic Layer

I dont know if it just me but while reading Chobits 7 I couldnt help but wonder. Could Hibaya-san's Husband and the developer from Angelic layer I-chan be one and the same. It has been a while since I have watched Angelic layer so I hope im getting the names correct. Im refering to the Lab coat wearing stalker that follows and guides Misaki through the series. Did any one else get that impresion?

Also, Why do you think they left out the Angelic Layer refrence out of the Anime?

I recently read the Angelic Layer manga (first 3 volumes), and in the first few pages they have these newspaper article style pages about Angelic Layer battles and there are snippets of other articles and one was about Chobits.

cause if that's the case, Chobits wouldn't have been invented!!!!
the reason Chobits were invented was because Hibiya and her husband can't have children. that was why Chobits were invented. if Masaki's mother is Hibiya, then wat the hell happened to Masaki? Car Crash? man i don't think Clamp's that sadistic. even if Clamp's that sadistic, there must at least be a photo of Masaki, Masaki's Mum and Mad Prof in a family pic, in one of the photo frames rite? do you see any? :rolleyes:

sometimes i wonder why ppl look for the obvious when it's rite there staring in your eyes. but i think they're in the same universe from the way Clamp's implying it. i have another idea though, u remember the mad prof's trusty sidekick? ;) he might be the one to elevate mad prof's work from Angelic Layer to Chobits. just some more conspiracy theories for those who think too hard... hope i'm not incurring the wrath of the die hard Hibiya, Masaki mum believers. :p
