I got the HK box for that when it first came out, and that's how I watched it originally. It's not that bad... but why couldn't ADV take a hint and use the gorgeous box art for the DVDs? That set is pretty!

It sucked watching the HK spellings of the various strange words, like "Ishtori" and "Barbem". They work fine, but it's a bit of a jolt switching to "Ixtli" and "Ba'bem"

HK subs on DVD bootlegs can be very bad..., the HK subs of the Evangelion movies were appalling..., so bad that the Cantonese sub was more bearable...,

Not suprising. Most fansubbers are more professional than Hong Kong subbers: They're only in it for the money you know.

The dubs were confusing and well about AnimeJunkies equivalents...

But the box is wonderful and even the screens and discs are pretty amazing...

It does make Adv look very lame in comparison..

Well Duh its horrible, you shouldnt by from hong kong cuz it hurts the sales of anime in the US, which hurts me because then my anime that i need might not come out in the US cuz of people like you. I tried to watch a hong kong import onetime and i had to turn it off, not just cuz the subs were bad but also cuz i felt so DIRTY!!
