Got the series off my friend, and have begun to watch it.

I've watched the first two episodes, enjoyed it so far. I didn't know what to expect from the series, started off pretty light hearted/comedy but boy did it take a turn.

I really like the animation and character style, every guy looks like a bishie (the guy with the red hair looks so cool) well cept for the Grandfather ...

Also what is the tennyo (sp?), I guess from the start of episode one it's some sort of angel?

Ahh what memories. This is what the legend is all about from Japan.

A tennyo (meaning, heavenly maiden). Decends down to earth to bathe the tranquil waters of earth. She leaves her hagoromo (heavenly robe - think of it as another way of using wings) on a tree as she bathes until a stranger sees her and took her robe. Hiding it away from her.

As she finishes, she looked everywhere for her missing hagoromo and she sees the stranger. He nonchalently told her that he did not see it. She was sad and alone, not knowing when she will ever get back to heaven. Eventually, he comforted the tennyo, they fell in love and marriage ensue.

They started a small family and everything was bliss. Until one day, the baby was singing a mysterious hymn to the tennyo which tells her where the hagoromo was hiding. When she found the robe, she ascends into heaven leaving her husband and child behind.

Update - POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD

Well bout half way through the series almost, up to episode 12 now. Enjoying every episode so far.

Is the awakened tennyo version of Chidori Ceres, or is it just a coincidence that they look alike.

And what the hell is Q-san? Is it a he or a she? But he/she has some of the funniest parts, especially in episode 4 when he said that it's because she/he looked like Ayumi Hamasaki

And what the hell is Q-san? Is it a he or a she? Can't you tell? It's the animated version of Britney Spears... ...hah... Well, I kind of always assumed Q-san to be a woman. Because if I remember right, she says things about her "beauty," whereas, I've never encountered a male animated or not that talks about their "beauty."

I love Ayashi No Ceres... A lot. Sucks that I was on one of my long AB breaks when this forum was made. Not only that, but I hadn't started buying it until... March or so of this year.

The series still has some light humor in it through until maybe the last three or so episodes. I think that the script writing of it was brilliant (this coming from a script writer).

The same features of the tennyo speaks for itself. Blue hair, gold eyes, powers beyond human strength, undefined beauty. It isn't coincidental but more of a mere awakening of a tennyo's spirit.

Its...................a.............................SHE MALE! :joke:

Q-san - Loyal servant to the Suzumi household and has driving skills that Takumi* can eat his heart out. And yes, Q-san is a she for that matter.
