Yes, you've read that correctly. On MTV.....:confused: Strange...is MTV now broadcasting anime!!!? This totally comes as a little shocking to me. But, I haven't seen this anime yet, so I'm looking forward to the release in 2004. Here's the news

How could you say that?! MTV has the bestest, awesomest show on earth: TRL!! I mean, seriously, day after day of boy bands and would-be teeny-boppers being praised by shrieking, nubile girls (and the occasionally wannabe guys) and telling the world there isn't any better music than rehashed, ow-my-ears-are-bleeding "pop" music.
Psh, if that's what "overated commercial crap" is, than by golly, gimme some more! My right ear still has partial functionality!! Do your worst!!!
//end highly cynical sarcasm
*sigh* I do miss Yo! MTV Raps and Alternative Nation. Ah, back when the music was good and it really was about MUSIC television.
edit:
Oh yea, gotta stay on topic. I don't remember what HGJ was about, but I passed it up when it first came out for a reason. What that reason was eludes me right now. Meh, doesn't matter. Um.. what was the thread about again? bah

The way MTV treats its animation makes me want to stab someone. Only that network has the uncanny ability to create wonderful shows and then cancel them right away (with no DVD release, no less).
As for Heat Guy J, well.. expect it to be cancelled in weeks. The fact that it's on is no big surprise, anime on MTV has been a long time coming.

Yes, other stations let them grow in popularity before canceling them. (See: FOX)
