I never liked Kagami, I mean he does what he thinks is appropriate without thinking of the people who's dragged with the whole mess that he's making. He has used and manipulated so many people for his ambitions. I think staying in the ship and be blown to bits is not enough for all his crimes.

I'm not really a violent person but I think he should end up with a violent death.....

I never really liked him. He certainly deserves a worse punishment than what he got. It was because of him that Chidori (my faovrite charcter) died, and Aya suffered greatly from her loss of Aki being held up as a hostage by Kagami's own men. From the very beginning of the story Aya's grandfather (which is Kagami's too) wanted to see her dead because she was reborn with Ceres inside her and she wanted to get rid of her before she awakened on Aya's 16th birthday. Unlike grandfather, Kagami had other plans for her as if he could selfishly do whatever he wanted.

I believe that him staying in his ship and being blown away was not enough for all his crimes. He didn't even seem human and even Glady's (her own secretary) said that to him around the end. He just because so involved and obessed with technology and brainwashing machines for research that he almost forgot how to have fun and socialize with family and friends. It's so sad because even his mother had a terrible decease and he never seemed to care for her either. I thought he was just really terrible.

I think he finally realized what he did when his goal was crumbling around him and he saw that almost everyone died for his wish. I think by doing all those bad things and realizing what he did could be as bad as other punishments.

He was so blinded by everything. Ugh. But you need a guy like that in an anime to make the plot more interesting.
