Who are those girls??

In the tv series or maybe it was in the OVA (not sure), I can't remember what episode it was, but it shows this old film with this girls in armors like those that sakura and her teammates uses. Who are they and where are they????

First of all, is it anime or real life? What I know is that the time when Sakura Taisen/Wars was still very popular in Japan was that all the voice actors in Japanese version actually perform on the stage and wear costumes like the characters that they did for voice acting. The first time I saw them doing it really surprised me.

Umm, I kinda mentioned that it was the series or the OVA not sure, but definitely not a cosplay! There was a portion wherein several officers where meeting or something and there were some kind of film showing. It looks as if the film was old and they were just reviewing it or something!! Maybe they were the first batch of female warriors ???

If it was the OVA then it should be about showing their training in those robots. Of course it should be about Sakura's first training in her machine.

I just swear it wasn't sakura or her team mates! As I said it looked as if the film was old or maybe I'm just having usual dosage of memory gap! Hehe

About who the girls were?
Probably some randoms to test out the armour, no VA's so probably about right. Another country maybe? They are or have relased one about Paris haven't they?

The two girls appear in the Sakura Wars movie as new members they belong to the ..can't remember the name of the squadron..that is not based in Japan. I can't remember their names either..their not memorable characters unlike the original crew.
