Go to Anime News Network.com and look at the sneak peak of the new and upcoming anime from that one Japanese magazine.
Among the titles that will be coming out in 2004 is Burn-Up Scramble, which is labeled as a police and shoujo series.
I don't know anything else about it though. So I don't know if this will involve a third Burn Up Party, or continue the antics of Rio and the crew.

Never heard of it. I hope it is a new series featuring our favourite characters. It'll be years before we see it though.

I do hope it is some sort of continuation of Burn Up W with the virtual drug syndicate.

It was confirmed that this was the Second TV outing of the franchise series, with the only existing one beforehand being Burn Up Xcess. I presume that that means it will be based on the adventures of Rio, Nanvel, Maya, and Lilica.
What the plot will be though, is anyone's guess. Might be a followup to the unresolved Virtual Drug, or might be a completely new story self-contained within the series. I know if won't continue the story of Xcess, since that was concluded.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS
Well if it's a continuation of Excess they could go on and elaborate more on the new red haired police chief, who she is etc etc.
END POSSIBLE SPOILERS
Hmm thinking about it, I never knew Burn Up was that popular enough to warrant another series ...

Actually I like those character designs, well I can see the pantie shots and overly sized chest are still there.
Hmm there are UFO's in the background ... if they end up fighting aliens :sweatdrop

Looks like yet another spin-off of the Burn Up series. hell, Burn-Up W wasn't the original cast. The original cast belonged to the original Burn UP.
This looks like a completely different cast, and if they end up fighting aliens, it will be because the series is styled completely different from the others.
But I hope that isn't true. I'd like to see more of Rio, Maya, Lilica, and Nanvel.

The new character designs look nothing like the old ones. Lilica has lost all of her cuteness, Maya looks like a schoolgirl and Rio looks more 'refined'. Yuji looks similiar to his old self, but less perverted. I can't believe Nanvel and Maki are missing. It's going to be strange without them around.
I guess all I can do is check this series out for myself. I enjoyed W and X, so I'm bound to enjoy this one.

Lilica and Maya seem to have switched roles: Lilica looks more badarse while Maya is more toned down. And who is the new lady? Nanvels replacement?
The series looks more serious than W or X. Hope it's good.

*Sniff**Sniff* I smell an Alternate Universe!
And a Motion Picture Soundtrack? Does that mean this is a movie and not a series?
Here's the official news release for Burn Up Scramble from the AIC site http://www.aicanime.com/products/burnups/index.html
hmm...the girls look to...normal and dedicated. I prefered them in Excess when they were brainless bimbo's they just look...dull in this one.
Well Maki, we can't blame her absence.

Speaking of which, the new chief sorta looks like the female leader of the drug syndicate from W *hint* *hint*
