Well I recently finished DNA^2, at first from hearing what my friend said before he lent me the series saying the main character becomes a mega playboy who impregnates 100 women ... I sort of thought it would be an anime packed full of fanservice but to my suprise it was an enjoyable yet silly short series, I mean Junta with his puking problem when he sees almost naked girls, Kotori who farts when she gets nervous and Ryuji who transforms into some mega DNA sucking badguy and has a 'DBZ' style duel with Junta ... but I guess that added to the series.

The transformation of Junta to his 'playboy' mode eerily reminds me of the Yugioh transformation ...,

I really like the opening theme 'Blurry Eyes' by Hyde, this was the only series which I watched the opening sequence for every episode instead of skipping it like I usually do.

Not something I would watch again ... well maybe if I've got nothing better to watch but overall an enjoyable series.

the farting was the best i saw dna^2 a couple years ago and will watch it again soon thanks for bringing back the memories.

I must admit that the last few eps. of this show were not very appealing to me. As stated the tranformation of Ryuji into the dna sucker was not to bad but the way it was presented was not my taste. But, I did view it dubbed so perhaps I should give it another try. On another point I found the specail extra episode to be rather pointless. Looking back I enjoyed the majoraity of the show.

The anime opening to DNA^2 is the best ever especially the opening song... Though I'm sure the opening theme is by L'arc-en-ciel. Got the mp3.

Thing is when people post topics about the best opening everyone ignores DNA^2 because no one has seen it. I thought it seemed rather artistic nd the they made the credits flow and move with theme song really well.

You mean those last 3 episodes where the other two time travellers appear. Yeah those last 3 episode weren't really needed except for the end where Karin leaves for good but it was still fun to watch though.

I dunno, at least it wraps up how in the world Karin screwed up the whole DCM bullet thing. However, it really got old when she could override Junta's mind control by crying "But you promised you'd never...." for the 10th time or something..

(and if I were his great^4-granddaughter like whats-her-name, I'd be just a little bit worried about going back home- wouldn't his not becoming the Mega-Playboy mean I wouldn't have been born?)

feel like they should end it before the peoples from the future come and make the anime a hell lot complicated

well, there is a reason why it ended the way it did...
the manga was 5 volumes long,
and the manga had a much better, or rather more elaborate ending...
BTW i didn't like the anime too much, go read the manga it will explain a lot of inaccuracies from the anime

also if you guys liked this you should definitely check out video girl ai

Yes, this is a Katsura work. Has the I''s manga ever been released in English? I've seen the scanslation and was much impressed. I read they made a lacking anime series from it.

As for the DNA^2 ending, it was silly, but so was the entire series. I really love the character design though.

I's has never been licensed... too many fan scans probably but then with ppl waiting so lonmg they have no choice... A vicious circle really.
And too say the I's anime was lacking is like calling 9/11 a small thing...
The I's anime was a load of utter crap that had nothing to do with the manga :/
