Finally watched Kare Kano

I have to say after watching Kare Kano it's become one of my favourite animes, soo cute and funny! Though dissapointed with the ending I guess a lot of people would be just stopping there.

As a couple, Arima and Miyazawa I really liked them. Acutally I liked all the characters in the series yes even that annoying Tsubasa XD She's the cuutes when she runs off to find the Totoro XD

I was also a bit dissapointed that Kazuma had very little screentime, I loved the scene where they think his some child molester and drag him off..

Later on with the series I didn't like it as much, it sort of drifted away from the whole Arima X Miyazawa thing. It was nice to see some subplots with the other characters but like the episode where Kano or was it Tsukino thought someone was stalking her .. well that was IMO a bit of a wasted episode...

Well I loved this series and currently I'm trying to hunt down the manga..

I thought the ending was crap, though. I mean, come on, no resolution of the main plot at all. I definately hope they are planning on making a sequel....


I was shocked at how disturbing it got sometimes, though.

Well browsing the forum well according to this thread -> http://animeboards.com/showthread.php?t=17892 looks like the animes ending was due to the fact the anime caught up with the manga thus nothing else to continue with..

Yeah this anime is one of the few romance animes that is very good and serious and different from others. And I find this anime to be one of my best animes.

Good to see you liked it orochi X. I've got the first three volumes of the US manga and I'm surprised how closely the anime follows the source - I'm assuming this changes along the lines later as at the moment I'm struggling with what the author was griping about in the Gainax production straying to far away from the material.

This is not the only time he then something like this a anime ending, prime example (EVA), but with this one he showed more heart and care about the characters, unlike the characters in eva. And even with that flaw with him, I still say that kare kano is one of my whole hearted animes, that I will always have in my heart.

I absolutely loved this anime series, but, unfortunately, I have yet to read the actual manga. The ending wasn't what I'd hoped it would be, but still... I found the series extremely enjoyable nonetheless.
