When this anime first came on cartoonetwork, I was watching it, but when my cable went off and I was out with it for a while. I only got up to episode 3 or 4 in the series, and I figure since the series is too far ahead, I did not mess with the series, but since I been watching noir, and thinking about dot hack, I was wondering should I get the series or not, because my cabe is out for good, and the only way now that I will be able to see it is if I buy it on dvd. So should I get the series or not.
If you have plenty of money to blow and are willing to watch each DVD at least 2 times until you understand it, go ahead. Otherwise, listen to the sarcastic baby with the british accent ;)
omg what the hell did any of you love eva that must have been to hard to understand huh dude if you were thinking about it get it if you didn't like it you would not be thinking of buying a crap anime...i love the music and how the story is so different for all this mech, slash, im lost in a thought anime its a nice breaze...my opinion is buy like two dvds and see what you think then if you don't like it sell it onebay or give it away....if your thinking my poor money hey thats life....
Sorry, we speak English, not Engrish...
Anywho, it would be better to rent a couple DVDs (if possible). Not to mention this thread is 5 months old...

Here’s a recommendation, try the manga (OC I'm assuming that your talking about LOB, not Sign). The sires closely fallows the manga, with only a few character changes. If you don't like the manga, then chances are you won't enjoy the sires.

Unless you're a hardcore fan, i'm with the renting thing too.
Plus the manga is good IMO.
