A question

Hi everyone, fairly new to AB, and i was wondering if anyone knows if the Van Helsing movie coming out in May is related to the Hellsing anime? Or is it just a case of some vampire lore or something that i don't know about.

Well just the fact that Frankenstein is in the movie basically answers the question.

its just another vampire/monster movie, and it has nothing to do Hellsing.

No, I'm pretty sure that it's not. If it was then I'm sure most of the Hellsing Fanboys would have known about it ages ago.

But with the name Hellsing, was that the name of the first ever Vampire? Or was that Vlad?

If i remember right Vladimer Drucul(a) or Vlad Tepes was a leader of Romania a long while ago, he impaled... Ouch. Supposedly Dracula, the first vampire was based off from Vlad but they never actually held any concrete bonds (besides names). Van Hellsing was the guy that visited Dracula's castle in Bram Stoker's Novel Dracula. Ive only read the patted down comic version though because our school was too cheap to buy the novel so i may be wrong.
