Tenchi late night

Tenchi is on at 12:30pm on Cartoon Network starting Monday. I saw the ad during Gundam Endless Waltz. I wonder if it'll be uncut? Anyway, just wanted to spread the news to anybody who didn't know.

Well with how much CN sux....I doubt that they'll be smart enough to give it uncut remember theres "nudity" <gasps> oh no!! something we see every damn day!!!!!!! CN just plain sux so don't count on any more uncuts for us people who can take nudity nd cursing.

isn't 12:30pm the middle of the day? I can't see how cartoon network could even play TEnchi cut.. imagine the hot springs scenes, like the one where Washuu see's that professors mark on the clone of Ryoko's butt.

Yeah, that 12:30 pm was a mistake, and yeah cut Tenchi is better than nothing...But I had such high hopes! Is uncut Tenchi funnier (I would think so)?

There are a few scenes that benefit from being uncut, but for the most part, the dialogue in the edited Tenchi Muyo! is nearly the same as the unedited.

my point exactly.. to some small degree, it's funnier uncut.. but it stands as cut very well, unlike Gundam ...

I don't think CN has any say in what's cut out of those shows. It's the people that work with those titles that decide what's cut out.

no the network would have the final say mostlikely. CN is really a childrens channel. I forget who owns it. But they get to choose what kind of programming they put on their network.

you guys forget that Disney owns Miramax, which means "Pulp Fiction" was a Disney movie. i don't think they give 2 craps what anyone but they put out... if they bought CN, it'd be the same as it is now, just more Disney crap.

tenchi's voice is more annoying than the fact that it is sliced and diced and painted. actually cn did well by not just cutting the whole scene and painting bathing suits on them.

That was the very reason why a few years ago, some Texas state agency dumped it's stock in Disney, in protest of the content in Miramax's movies, Pulp Fiction being a higlighted one.
