ok, 1st plz excuse me for my ignorance, but i've watched a couple episodes of boogiepop phantom and i can really follow it very well, it just seems to be pretty unrelated rambleing.

Can some1 plz enlighten me?

you might think your following it very well but if you think its all unrelated than you really aren't getting it... get it?
i own the boxed set and have watched it several times still its a little confusing... :p
anyway the reason why it seems like just a lot of rambling to you is because its showing everything thats happening in one time span from different perspectives of different people, and its showing you the effects that the manticore has had on the people and how boogie pop phantom deals with them well most of them the affected ones anyway... :)

You'll see how it's all related in the end. In particular, the second half of the series (i.e. ep 7 onward) begins to show how. However, although the plot ties together with great precision, the main purpose is thematic. The themes and their interconnectedness between episodes will become apparent. Just be patient.
