Odd question... con or com?

I have often seen multiple spellings of japanese words like shoujo or shojo, but i was just wondering, can it really be called a persecom, or is that just another way that tokyopop butchers the original context. I have rarely seen the term persecom on the forums...

It's correctly Persocom. It's a Japanese word for "personal computer". The way most Americans call computers "PCs", Japanese call them persocoms. If you see it sometimes as "persocon", that's because there is no strict n or m in the Japanese language, the way that there is no strict r or l.

So your "persecon" is probably a spelling mistake. ^^
