I was thinking.Naruto's final goal is to be Hokage.Problem is,with his present immaturity and recklessness there's no way he can be Hokage. So how can this serie end? Will they just send Naruto against a big villain(Orochimaru/Itachi?) and have them come home happy or is there a chance they'll do a 20 years later showing a grown-up Jounin Naruto?Or something else?

I actually do think he can be Hokage. He's beceoming stronger and stronger, and more intelligent as the series goes on. Jiraiya said he is like the 4th, which was also reckless and immature. Actually, same thing with Jiraiya, he was offered to become hokage (declined it) and he was reckless and immature (during his time, still is in some ways). So, I think its going to end showing a 20 years later with Naruto becoming Hokage...although I have another theory...

Jiraya can be immature yes,but when it comes to serious matter he can be wise.

Naruto still has a long way to go to be like that.Like those Jounins pointed out during the Chuunin exam,Naruto doesn't have what it takes to be a leader.

What is your theory exactly?

Naruto still has a long way to go to be like that.Like those Jounins pointed out during the Chuunin exam,Naruto doesn't have what it takes to be a leader.

we gotta remember that Jiraiya is at least more than 25 years older then Naruto, of course Naruto has a long way to go to be like him. Anyway, I wasnt saying that Naruto is going to become Hokage as is right now when he's 12 years old (his current age), I was saying, I'm pretty sure he'll be Hokage when the series ends, and im expecting the series to end with a 20 or 30 years after, which will mean he'll be the same age as Jiraiya is now. Naruto is becoming wiser, if you watch ep. 104, you'll clearly relaize that he's not the same Naruto from episode 3. But yea, I guess the point here is, I think the series will end with Naruto becoming Hokage 20-30 years after episode 1.

What is your theory exactly?
Well, I kinda got "warned" for spoiling, but keep in mind that I have never read the manga (actually, i have but only till chapter 40 when the second part of chuunin exam begins) and only up to 104 of the anime (pretty much all there is). Anyway, I think we all, or most of us here, think that Naruto is related to the 4th. Looks, hair, personality, everything. I believe Naruto is the 4th's son. Which adds up my theory on why I think he'll become hokage in the future. of course, none of this is true until kishimoto gets to that point in the manga...

Well yeah it's gotta end with Naruto becoming Hokage, unless some dramatic change happens, cause that's really al he wants. But i doubt he'll just become it by beating some strong guy, i mean right now he's only a genin still, even though he's alot stronger them to normal genin they haven't recognized him as a higher leveled ninja, and well SPOILERSforMANGA

It looks like they're jumping 3 years ahead in the manga right now so they are at least passing time, so knowing this it is possible to keep going until Naruto's at an age to become Hokage END SPOILERS

And i thought the fourth was the 3rd's son, and if so wouldn't Naruto be a Sarutobi?

It'll end when Naruto defeats the demon inside of him one way or the other. Proving it's his power/ability that made him what he is and no one else's. Whether or not he becomes Hokage could become superfluous at that point.

But that's Naruto's goal throughout the whole series is to become Hokage. I don't know why they would just end it without Naruto reaching his goal. He has become really strong since the first season and he keeps progressing.

Naruto's perseverence is what makes his fight, but it's the Kyubi that makes him strong. The ultimate test for Naruto is to confront his true (and most powerful) nemesis/ally. Once he has beaten it he could become Hokage, a senin, or die. There are very few Japanese series that have nice endings, especially good Japanese series. The Kyubi should be his final adversary, and if he beats that does it really matter if he becomes Hokage? Hokage would be a teensy step back from beating down a beast so strong the strongest leaf Hokage ever couldn't do more than seal it.

You know, if we ignore kyubi for a moment here, we can see that naruto is strong, because he's the most adaptable ninja in the series, he adapt and he learns quickly, more than the geniuses there, and not to mention that in one point he got more respect from people there then anyone else, take Neji and Gaara for example, both aloof, but both learned to respect naruto.
If anything he can become hokage by the respect of the people who know him alone. heh.

Riight. Orochimaru loses both his arms, yet he's still the most powerful Senin and manages to get a new body.

Itachi was faced with the limit of one Ninja's ability and broke through it.

Haku was orphaned, betrayed by his father, yet through training became a ninja that could take Sasuke and Naruto combined, AND retain his gentle personality.

Gaara who against all odds, driven mad by real solitude, became the strongest and most feared young shinobi.

Neji, the outcast. Who taught himself techniques he was never supposed to know. And excelled in them.

Sasuke, who's willing to risk more than his life to become stronger than his brother to avenge his clan, and perhaps his innocence.

Rock Lee, who forged genius from ineptitude by hard work.

You get the idea. Naruto isn't more 'adaptable' than any of these guys, he's a tank who only has two main techniques: shadow clones and Rasengan. This makes his a versatile tank with one big gun. The only reason Neji and Gaara respect his is because he beat them without losing his naivete, and optimistic view on life. The only reason he beat them is the Kyubi.

Oh and you do become Hokage by attaining respect. Just look at the previous Hokages. Yellow Flash, Sarutobi, Tsunade, all of them exceptional and respectable shinobis. (Spoiler ahead) Still having a demon inside of you is a bit of a downer, then again it didn't stop Gaara.

I disagree with you on several points, like the kyubi is the one that won the matches, true that the infinite amount of chakra emenates from him, but according to the serie it suppose to destory a human being, only naruto's stubborness and strong will are the one which keeping the kyubi in check, never once in all those battle naruto lost himself, he might become somewhat feral in his behaviour, but he always was naruto.

Ehm, no. Disagree all you want though.
The kyubi itself told Naruto he could have a little taste of his power the first time Naruto called on him. Remember the deal? Naruto get a small amount of chakra as rent. The Kyubi itself told Naruto that if he (Naruto) were to die the Kyubi would die as well. Just rewatch Gamabunta's first summoning, or re-read the manga. Now where is the logic in killing your host? Regarding Naruto's feral apearance when he's fed large amounts of red chakra: powerful and large amounts of chakra can change your apearance, see Choji's fight and acompanying monologs. It does nothing to the mind, Naruto just has bad chakra control so when he's angy he vents (re: wastes).
The kyubi is sealed inside Naruto by the deathgod jutsu, it's not the same type of seal Sasuke has, Naruto has no power over it nor does it draw from any of Naruto's attributes. The Kyubi is trapped, but due to the nature of the seal (and most likely the power of the kyubi) some of its power always escapes. This manifests itself in super fast healing, 'monsterous' stamina, and huge reserves of blue chakra.
A funny side effect of using the red chakra is that Naruto's own chakra reserves seem to grow, because his capacity is stretched everytime he uses the Kyubi. This explain Taju Kage Bunshin and Rasengan.
And look at it this way: if the Kyubi didn't help would Naruto have won? He's still only a hero on borrowed power, he still can't beat Sasuke.

"only a hero on borrowed power"????
Naruto never used the Demon Fox's power when he unleashed his Rasengan against Kabuto. His extreme determination and strong willpower made/makes him strong.

In the early stages of the series, Naruto grew stronger and smarter without the help of the Demon Fox's power at all. Naruto learned how to control his chakra by climbing trees vertically using his feet only. He practicesd jutsu's and increased his accuracy by testing his kunai throwing abilities. I'm not sure about this next one, but; I think that Naruto didn't use the Demon Fox's power when Sasuke, Sakura and Himself fought those bunshin/genjutsu b/\st/\rds (DAMN they were annoying) during the 2nd Stage of the Chuunin Exam.
I also believe that he didn't use the Demon Fox's power to beat Kiba & Akamaru in the preliminary matches of the 3rd Stage of the Chuunin Exam.

If ANYONE is a "borrowed hero" it would be Sasuke; needing the power of the curse seal to make him strong. Needing the abilities of his Bloodline Limit, the Sharingan, to read/foresee his opponents moves/jutsu's. Needing to kill his best friend in order to obtain the Mangekyou Sharingan.

Borrowed because unlike a bloodline limit, the benefits of the nine-tails were his without requiring any effort. Increased stamina, increased strength, increased healing, increased chakra reserves. A bloodline limit requires skill to master, sacrifice in general. And not just the forced upon kind like being alone all your life, consience sacrifice to obtain and use that power. You see this in Neji and Sasuke.
Naruto's determination isn't greater than Rock Lee's or Sasuke's, it's his naivete that makes him special, his unwillingness to sacrifice his personal feelings and ambitions. He will not become a tool like other shinobi, that's his Nindo.
Further more the only reason he can use the Rasengan is the nine-tails, the nine-tails grants Naruto benefits beyond that of the red chakra, even with those benefits he is no match for Neji, Sasuke, or Lee. He beat those hidden rain (were they rain?) nin because of his (chakra) stamina (Orochimaru can't seal stamina), and now you know why he has such 'monsterous' stamina.
Naruto didn't need his the nine-tails against Kiba, Kiba - in terms of strength - is weaker than Toji, he also severely underestimated Naruto. Not to mention that Naruto didn't actually beat Kiba, it was more of a fluke.
Sasuke isn't a hero, he's an Avenger. Big difference. Sasuke is more skilled than Naruto, in every trial or test they faced Sasuke beat Naruto. Sasuke is a more accurate shot, a faster and smarter fighter, and better at chakra control/molding. Naruto has more stamina, has more chakra, and is stronger. Sasuke however sees the power Naruto has and realises(re: thinks) he needs the same kind of power to become stronger. The curses seal is the obvious choice, yes it is like using the nine-tails but it is more taxing and power-wise it only makes him equally strong.
Finish watching the confrontation between young Naruto and Sasuke. Read ahead and see teen Naruto fight Kakashi, he still has questionable battle tactics whereas Sasuke's are streamlined.

I do not doubt Sasuke's abilities, I only believe that calling Naruto a "hero on borrowed power" is not fair judgement. And what do you mean that he didn't "beat" Kiba?? He unleashed an awesome combo, in which he used his own initiative and modified certain aspects of it, and basically kicked the sh!t out of Kiba! Also, the part about comparing Kiba with Toji???

Ya know, Gaara had a demon within him as well and people don't really negate that he was extremely powerful and beat all of those people. Additionally, Naruto seems to have his main strength in his quick thinking, brute strength, stubborness, and strong desire to succeed. Without those skills he would have died a long time ago with or without the demon fox. Furthermore, like they have said throughout the series, luck is a ninja skill as well (for example, Naruto was extremely lucky to be born with the demon fox inside him because he can use its power).
