In the episode when Murai's mother does modeling for the wedding dresses, there is a wedding with these people, all small and weird looking that when smiling all have these small pointy teeth... what is that? Some kind of homage as they do with stuff like Ringu?

Yeah, in the second last arc where they go to Okinawa. One of the students has them pointy teeth.

Anywayas for those wierd people being homages or parodies of something, I wouldn't have a clue.

well, not so long ago people thought pointy teeth were cool. So dentists actually filed certain teeth into points. rumiko takahashi's characters in Ranma 1/2 also have pointy teeth. I wonder how long they kept filing peoples teeth into points... :confused:

Those weren't bad teeth, they were gnome teeth. We used to have this administrative guy in high school, whom we called "the gnome", not because of his size (almost 2 meters tall), but because of teeth like that. Pearly white and whatever, but alike those characters in GTO.
