FMA on CN thread

So who's watching the series on AS? This is my first time watching FMa, and I gotta say, it's pretty good. Episode 3 is tonite and it's the history episode. can't wait!

oh, I love the dub as well, and the opening.

Hmmm..I haven't listened to the dub track yet. On a scale from 1-10, what would you give it.

I'd give the dub 8 out of 10. Definitely listenable, but the voices seem a little off from the characters to me. The acting is good, but Mustang's voice is about twice as deep as I imagined it would be, Ed sounds a good bit older than he looks and Al sounds like Al should. The ancilliary characters are voiced very well, in my opinion.

I'd give the dub a 9. I really like the voices, but I haven't seen the japanese version, so I really have nothing to comapre it too. Regardless, I've been pretty impressed with most of Funi's dubs since Yu Yu Hakusho (Fruits Basket was good, except for Yuki's voice).

Anyhow, ep 3 aired last night. The episode was good, but it's not anything great or special like a lot of fma fans were telling me. That's not saying that the series sucks, becuase I like the series so far. On the other hand, Gits: SAC is amazing.

what are dubs? what are you guys talking about just like golden fool, I DON'T GET IT :eek:and whats CN thread?

subbed = subtitles
dubbed = original language substitute, in this case from japanese to english.
CN= cartoon network
