Claudia?

What is claudia? From what I gather, its the pilots, ships, engines, and fuel to run the ships. Is this correct, and if so, why are so many things named identically? Kinda odd...

I think it's the technology or fuel*, which would certainly explain it being used in various names, much like you get diesel engines, diesel fuel (i think you also get diesel engineers who specialise in working on diesel engines) etc.

I can't remember pilots being reffered to as "claudia" pilots though in the series (although it has been 4-6 months since I watched most of the series as i've only just got DVD 7)



*i'm sure it's the fuel, but i'm not 100% if it's the right term for the whol technology based on it's use

I'm going to have to rewatch it in the new year as I think i missed a lot by watching it every few months :)
