Deeo and his sister

I've finished episode 18, where Maestro comes streaming from the sky to wage war on the Empress. When Deeo sees his sister's ship (correct me if I am wrong, but Deeo is a guy, right?), he goes crazy. Why is he so frightened of her? Is it something you don't find out till the end?

Deeo is a guy right? And the person with him is... his brother? I can't seem to figure it out by their voices. I thought Deeo was a guy for the first 10 eps :heh:
