Eps. 26 Public Peace Section 9 Again ?

I a little bit confused about the eps in the Ghost in the Shell - Stand
Alone Complex. Is eps. 26 (Public Peace Section 9 Again) the last eps of the
First season or the first eps of the second season. I only got the the first
5 DVD and can find any information about the eps on the next DVD.

It's the last episode of the first season. Most Japanese anime shows run for a duration of 26 episodes. Some only 13. Most American shows run for about 13 I believe. Maybe more.

But yeah, Public Peace Section 9 Again is the last episode of the first season.
