anybody reading the manga and up to date with chapter 257?

ok, since they talked about kyubi and also shukaku (spelling???) and the other monsters, do u think that kyubi is the strongest of the monsters?
does the number of tails indicate the strenght or are they the same?
i am not sure, but could itachi be after kyubi, or did i misunderstand that?

I'm up to date with it. I'm thinking that the kyubi is strongest as it gives a HUGE amount of chakara for Naruto to use. Itachi is after the kyubi. I'm sure that once he gets that, he'll discard Naruto like yesterday's trash. Looks like Garaa is going to die real soon. Shame as he is a cool character. Hmm, in any case, I have to read today's chapter especially after the cliffhanger last week. :)

Itachi wants the Kyuubi because the group he's with wants all of the legendary beasts. And don't look forward to today's chapter... it doesn't resolve anything -- AGAIN. Damn manga moves slower than... er... something really slow. I'm too tired for analogies.

As to the power question, I don't think they say specifically that the nine-tails is more powerful, but considering the amount of damage it cause to Konohara (is that even spelled right?) I'd say it's pretty damn close.

...I just wish they'd hurry up and say if Gaara's gonna die or not. The suspense is killing me!!
