I recently saw mononoke hime for the first
time and i was so moved it's a great movie and i was so sad when i saw the ending because i
thought that ashitaka and san would not be together but then i read some translations and found
out she actually says "i love you" to ashitaka and he says that they will live together him in
tatara ba and san in the forest only because san said she couldn't forgive the humans so ashitaka
wants them to live in peace. i was feeling much better after finding that out but this is truly
a great film, just going to show how much it moved and effected me. still whenever i hear the
ending music i feel so sad its amazing how good the music soundtrack is. otherwise out of interest
will a sequel ever be made? i know its highly unlikely but does anyone think that there is some
possibility?

Most of Miyazaki Hayao's movies are based on human interactions, nature and animals. The majority of some films that he directed are how human nature and earth elements when a conflict of interest comes to play. Another recommandation to watch is Nausicaa, Valley of the Wind.

Any movie by Miyazaki is a must to see.

Good to know you enjoyed the movie, as Kawaii Miko said you should definately check out Miyazaki's other Studio Ghibli movies.

As for a possibility of a sequel, I'm doubting it.

Yes I had already watched Spirited away before watching mononoke hime (at the time didnt know it was studio ghibli), but I didn't really like (or understand) spirited away. i will watch it again though but after watching mononoke hime i just watched nausicaa and it was great too. still not as good as mononoke hime but still very nice. ghibli has some amazing stuff.
