Still good!

The original movie that is. Watched it a week ago and I sat through it all. I swear, I love everything about the movie. The crazy plot (still working on it :lol: ), the characters, the setting. Even the animation is still good in my book. The backgrounds are gorgeous, and the music is quite amazing....I should of bought the DVD a long time ago. :)

True, the original GiTS movie is still very good, and considered quite the classic if I am not mistaken. If only my copy of the DVD had subtitles that actually matched the lip syncing rather than showing up 1/2 a second behind....

Well, if you were thinking of reading the manga to get a better idea of the plot... don't. It's much more confusing :lol:

Of course it's still a good film! My favorite part is right after Kusanagi and Batou are drinking beer on that boat. Kusanagi gives that monolouge about being an individual and having a soul. Then in the next scene she sees someone with the same body as hers. Now I feel the need to watch the movie again.

Actually Darkhorse released a reprint last year so it shouldn't be to hard to find.
