Was there ever a Blueseed 2?

I remember a long time online, someone told me there was another tv series for Blueseed, and I was like wtf. Now I know that there was a OVA, but was there really a second series? I tried looking but I'm seeing nothing....I just hope my dreams aren't going to get crushed. :lol: :(
