help Fruits Basket season two!!

Well, maybe some of you guys have already signed this petition.. But if you haven't, please sign it! I know you want to watch the second season!

This petition is pointless. It's not FUNimation that needs to be petitioned. They had nothing to do with the creation or production of this anime. They are simply the NA licensor and distributor.

If you want a valid petition, you'd have to send one to Studio Deen (http://www.deen.co.jp/), the original animation company behind Furuba, or NAS (http://www.nasinc.co.jp/en/NAS_information_index.html), the original production company behind Furuba.

Even then, there's no guarantee that either company would be responsible for a second season. Unless one or both companies are bound contractually or have some form of agreement, any number of animation and production companies could pick up the next season of Furuba. It's not uncommon for an anime to jump companies during its run.

Alternatively, a petition could be sent to Takaya Natsuki, the mangaka (or creator of the Furuba manga). I doubt she'd have much control over the creation of more anime but she'd have to show interest before anything could possibly get started (presuming there are no contractual obligations).

Lastly, and I didn't mean for this post to get so in depth... I definitely want more Furuba anime. Optimistically, I believe more will happen in the future once there's enough manga to justify it. The manga is still running in Japan and, from what I last read, it's still wildly popular.
