Full Metal Alchemist has been a series that I've been wanting to watch for a while, and finally I've found the oppurtunity to watch the series.
Assume series spoilers ahead!
Firstly as a whole it was great action adventure series. I admit though there weren't any memorable fight scenes, actually most of them were quite short and not very well fufilling? A good cast of characters, quite liked Hughes (shame he had to die) and Armstrong. I really was expecting Mustang to play a bigger role than what he had but I did like that odd silly filler episode around the 3/4 mark which revolved around him and the other soldiers.
I think I was most dissapointed with the ending, felt rushed. The homonoculus (sp?) ended up being dealt with quite easily, I mean Envy he just decided to enter the gate and dissapeared. And Dante .., I mean getting eaten by Gluttony? What sort of dissapointing end is that!
Question, with the movie, it follows on from the series right or does it take place somewhere in it?
Well FMA was a fun ride while it lasted.
