Okay I stumbled upon this character named Sai when I was browsing through the manga chapters and I think he rocks! He says "I dont have what people call emotions." and it is a running joke how he cant understand human relationships. His "power" is that he can bring his paintings to life to attack enemies. For instance, he could paint a lion and make it rip someone to shreds. He is a very good painter and he treasures his sketch book. Oh yeah and his brother is dead. :D Here is Wikipedias word on him (Just the best stuff)

Like Naruto, Sai has a tendency to come up with his own pet names for those he is close too. In his case however, he doesn't realize how people react to offensive words so he just goes with how he feels. So far he has called:
Naruto: Dickless Wonder (results in Naruto responding comically. In the Grass Country arc, when Yamato, Sakura, Sai, and Naruto were in the hotsprings, Sai commented that Naruto does indeed have one, which made Naruto jump up and start yelling at how strange Sai was for always mentioning it. It should be noted that he called his brother the same thing.) However, he doesn't call Naruto that anymore. Sakura: Hag/Ugly-Dog (which promptly earned him a nasty beating from Sakura) Choji: Fatass/Fatty/Fatso/Tubby (Japanese term is "Debu", which is an offensive way to call someone fat; Naruto prevents him from actually doing so)
Ino: Ms. Lovely/Ms. Beautiful/Beautiful/Gorgeous (afraid of receiving a similar reaction like the one Sakura gave him, he decided to give Ino a compliment instead of what he was really thinking; this greatly annoyed Sakura to the point where she beat him again)
It seems like it has become a running gag that Sai is unable to read social situations correctly or inadvertantly calls people offensive names without realizing it.

Post your coments here about this guy and tell me what you think of him.
And yes, I know he has a "Wardrobe malfunction" with his shirt so you can make fun of that if you want. :D For those of you who dont know him, he wears a belly shirt for some reason.
Tell me what you think of this guy!

What confuses me about Sai is that, although he is a good sketch artist, he seems to not be able to see any beauty in other people. He calls Sakura hag and only calls Ino gorgeous because its the opposite of what he is thinking. If it was merely due to his lack of emotions you'd think his thoughts about them would be neutral.

Yeah that kinda had me a little puzzled too but he calls Sakura "Hag" cause that is exactly what he was thinking. He didnt worry about having the living crap eat out of him by Sakura because he doesnt have that emotion. (I think . . . ) And have you also noticed that most of the time you see him, he is smiling? Doesnt that count as happiness?

He is kind of full of himself... kind of like NARUTO.

I admit, Naruto is a little arrogant, which is why I agree with Neji.
"Once a failure, always a failure."
That may not be true in everyones case but in Naruto's it is.

They make the point when he is introduced that his smile is always fake. He doesn't feel happiness so he is just mimicing a smile to set people at ease.

I wouldn't say arrogant, more naieve if anything and maybe not even that. Naruto has certain beliefes about the world which are close to unshakable. That gives him the determination to keep going.

He's also hard to classify as a failure. In many ways he's still a kind of a screw up as a ninja with his slow understanding in many cases as well as him just bungling some things in general. On a number of occasions though, he's shown a form of brilliance that impresses even the elite ninja though. He worked out a way of performing the rasengan long before he was strong enough to do so. He devised the strategy to free Kakashi from Zabuza's water prison. He even managed to beat Neji in the chuunin exams - part of that was due to the demon fox chakra but the final blow was all about Naruto thinking a step ahead.
