What do all of ya'll think of this filler arc? I personally have mixed emotions about it.

(SPOILERS DOWN YONDER!!!)


What I like:
Rukia comes back earlier than she does in the manga.
There's not too much of that punk-ass Byakuya.
No more Karakura Super Heroes mixed in (I like Don-Kinouji and all, but I HATE his Power Rangers thing!).

What I don't:
It's taken WAY too long for the story to progress.
The whole "vampire" thing is over done.
There's no real developments with the main characters other than Ishida getting his powers back.
I REALLY like the Arrancar arc in the manga, and I really wish they'd hurry up.

Firstly I don't watch the anime, just reading the manga here.

But I am however interested in the arc, why? Just to see the Soul Society captains once more who I wish would make more of an appearance in the current manga arc - hopefully later eh.

Also hearing about Ishida getting his powers back, now I wonder will he lose those powers when the arc finishes so it won't mess with what happens in the manga where he gets training from his father?

Oh... he'll almost certainly lose them, he'll probably do something incredibly stupid (and powerful) like when he fought Mayuri and then have his dad "help" him. FYI, in the anime Mayuri sends his daughter to give Ishida an artifact that will give him his powers back temporarily. This artifact can malfunction at any time though, and is extemely unstable. What I'm REALLY looking forward to is how he fights in the coming chapters in the manga.

I love Bleach. Its one of my fav's. I think the Ishida's toy will break, taking "its" powers with it. I want to see Zaraki intial release. He's my faovite character followed by Renji. I like the guy with the staff also, I can't remember his name right now.

Speaking of Ishida, why did Mayuri give that artifact to Ishida so he may regain his powers? Was it an order from the higher ups? Because Mayuri doesn't seem like the one who would meddle in other peoples affairs (he didn't turn up to see off Aizen at the end of Soul Society because he didn't care) especially if it involves Ishida.

Worst. Idea. Ever. Nothing from the Bount Arcs should've carried into the Arrancar Arc. It only ruins it, especially for manga fans who know it's filler made specifically for the anime. In this case, continuity is a crime.
