I came across the Excel Saga, Complete Collection Thin Pack Box the other day and I must say that I'm a tad bit disappointed with the Box. The front of the box has Excel and Hyatt draped in Lingerie. Now by looking at the box you would think that this show was full on Fan Service. Nothing could be further from the Truth. I'm pretty sure that the creator said outright that he didn't want any panty shots in Excel Saga. Yes I know episode 26 is unique but the majority of Excel is clean. I know sex sells but the cover would put more people off it rather than entice them to watch it.

Try watching Puni Puni Poemi which is by the same group behind Excel Saga. It moves the line seperatinf fan service and hentai closer to hentai ;)

You should hear some of the interviews from the American voice actors, a lot of them said they wouldn't want their parents watch Puni Puni Poemi just because of what they had to do.

On a seperate note you should have gotten the imprefect collection, The DVDs are in normal cases but they contain a lot of extras. Unlike the thin version you pictured.

Plus there the cover would not have scuduced you Wolfpac.
