Deathscythe & Duo Maxwell VS Nataku & Wu Fei Chang

Ok, lets get ready to rumble. Both pilots are at the heights of their skills and their Gundams are at their best. IMO, its hard to see a winner. Both have good ranged and close range skills. Duo has the Buster shield, Wu Fei has the Dragon claws, Duo has his Psickle while Wu Fei has the Glaive and both are highly skilled pilots themselves.

Who do you think would win if they went at it?

Though I'd love to stay faithful to my Shinigami-kun, I'd have to say Wufei... *gag* I HATE Wufei... but he's pretty strong!

Uh, Duo, I suppose. He could cloak and then run away, just like he said he could. And then sneak back later and knock Wufei off. ^^

in a fight to the death Duo would win. He is after all the god of death. Plus he is the only non suicidal gundam pilot.

I think Wufei because he's so damn blockheaded. He desires an honorable win over anything else, and I think that drive would barely be enough to finish off our lovable dude, Duo.

Duo would probably run away before Wufei could finish him off, and then sneak back and kill him. ^^

I think that Duo would win. He can be sly. He might get behind Wufei with out him knowing. Then get him with his scythe.

It's very hard to say as they are both outstanding pilots.Wufei held his ground against Heero and the Wing Zero while Duo defeated the Mercurius and the Vayate with Heero's and Trowa's data.

But I'd wtill vote Duo for his cloaking abilities gives him a edge.

Duo would win because he would want to keep his title as the God of Death. When the situation would go bad, he'd self destruct the Gundam. If it 'actually worked', he'd take Wufei down with him unless he left before it exploded, killing Wufei.

Wufei would win because he is toooo determined. He'd also beat Duo in a sword fight.

They both pilot really good Gundams. I'd vote for Duo and the Deathscythe.

Wufei is the superior melee expert here, however Duo is perhaps the best pilot (aviation-wise) of the G-boys. Let's compare mecha:

These mobile suits are equal in terms of total, with Shenlong being stronger in fighting, and Deathscythe having more dash speed and a slightly better long-range attack.

Since neither flamethrowers or a buster shield are truly very effective, you have to assume both of the Gundams want to get into melee. Here, Shenlong has an advantage, however, both the beam scythe and beam glaive can destroy the opposing suit. The beam glaive is a longer staff-like weapon, so it can be thrust, along with the dragon fang which can be projected outwards to a range. It is here in melee that the Shenlong has a range advantage.

The Deathscythe may have ECM's, but that's only for approaching enemy installations, not for running around blowing things up unnoticed. Duo may be able to sneak up on Wufei, but once the battle begins, count the hyper jammers out of the fight. Deathscythe also has more speed, but only in the form of short thrusts. Otherwise, combat speed is equal.

Combine the superior melee combat abilities of the Shenlong with Wufei's apparent expertise in martial arts, and the fight has to go to Wufei and the Shenlong.

round of aplause for Lord S... another battle determined..... while we're in the heat of discussion, i'd also like to ask everyone: "how was Heero able to stand upto Wufei (in Altron) just using a Space Leo in Endless Waltz?" i could never figure that one out.... they both put up a very good fight... :heh:

Heero really couldn't win versus Wufei, but he could at least use his beam saber to block the beam trident. Had Wufei decided to use his dragon fangs, you could say Heero was going to be very, very dead.

Wufei would never have used his Dragon Claw,he's too honorable for that.
