I personally have become so accustomed to vBulletin that it would be a difficult transition for me. I post on several Forum communities of different topics and each one has used vBull for YEARS! I honestly don't really see what the gain would be, people sure don't want to listen to my boring blogs :p

Hi Jura thanks for the suggestions but bit hard to move over since I work for vBulletin :lol: vBulletin has along of extensive power - most of it i have chosen not to enable or add on to keep the forums manageable :)

Next vB 4.x version will have alot more in store for users trust me ;) Alot of it useful for forum/web masters like myself :D

Talking about blogs - would AB members like me to enabling the blogging features for AB ? As well as link up user Albumns pages to main menu navigation ie. http://animeboards.com/album.php?u=1

vB has had these features for quite a while actually :D

I've got a brilliant, brilliant idea Lord Eva2k: why don't we make a poll to decide whether to include blogs or not? This would dovetail into my "Poll of the Week" tactic (as mentioned here http://www.animeboards.com/showthread.php?t=65931), by giving a great community-based topic for everyone to vote on.

I'm a little disappointed that you didn't look into IPB.

It's much more useful and flexible.

So what exactly is so good about this IPB? Do you use IPB?

1. How is IPB more useful and flexible compared to what currently exists here?
2. There's already blogging and social group features here, so what can IPB bring to the table?
3. How is IPB more "powerful"?
4. How does vBulletin lack thought in their features?
5. How will IPB make this place more modern?
6. How will IPB make this place "easier" for new members? All a new member has to do at the moment is sign up and start posting - what's so hard about that?
7. Why are you plugging IPB so much? You work for them or something?

vB has had these features for quite a while actually :D
I think the blog feature might be interesting for review purposes and if Eva was looking to maybe make some kind of review site or sales site it could possibly feed into that.
