I need to know everyone's opinion on this. In episode 13, they're talking about Spike's eyes being different colors. Here's the thing: they both look brown to me. Did they screw up here or what? Now, I COULD buy the explanation that they're different shades of brown, although I didn't see it myself... I've got to have at least one response, folks; this thing is driving me crazy.

Spike actually lost one of his eyes in the battle where Julia betrayed him. That's why they are different colors because one of them is prosthetic. But you are right. They are only slightly off in color.
there's an explanation about Spike's eyes in Session 26
(The Real Folk Blues pt. II), but if you haven't gotten
there yet and don't want to know, pass no further ...

before Spike goes off to face Vicious, he explains to
Faye that his right eye is prosthetic (i don't know the
right term, but its not his real eye) and is a different
color from his left. (you can see him getting the "fake"
eye in Session 6: Sympathy for the Devil).
its kinda hard to see, but when they do closeups of Spike's
eyes, the right eye has a bit more of a sheen to it than
his left eye and is a little bit redder/lighter in color.
if you look close at Spike's eyes in Session 13 (Jupiter
Jazz pt. II) when Gren is talking about Julia, you can
see that only Spike's right eye has that white/shine/lighter
look on it.
also, in Session 20 (Pierrot Le Fou), you really get to
see how Spike's right eye is different when he's facing
Tungpo.
and then there's the whole thing about the Red Eye drug
and how Spike's right eye is redder in color, but that's
another rant for later ...

Thanks to all who responded. That really was driving me crazy. A prosthetic eye, eh? Well, that would explain the flashbacks to the operating table he keeps having... They kind of reminded me of Wolverine's flashbacks in the X-men movie.
Later, all.
