How can anyone say that Cowboy Bebop sucks?

well this was interesting.I was walking home from school with some guy(who i prefer to call nameless),which happened to like anime alot.He asked me what anime i had,and here is how the conversation went:

"So what anime do you have on DVD and stuff?"

(me)"Hmmmmmm...let me think.I have Ghost In The Shell,"

"that sucks"

(me)",i have the RRK OVAs,"

"those suck also"

"(me)I have Evangelion and Tenchi Muyo,"

*he just rolls his eyes and spits*

"(me) I have Nadesico and Saber Marionette J"

"those are just crap".

(me)"I also have Cowboy Bebop.Everyone i show that too seems to really like it".

Everyone has a right to their own opinion whether you agree with them or not. DBZ has some good points, and I can understand why a fan of that show might not like the shows you mentioned. Having said that, anyone who thinks DBZ is not only better than CbB, but makes it look like crap in comparison was ASKING to be kicked. "The only good anime?" Close minded fans like your nameless friend give the rest of us a bad name.

Besides, Ed is the ONLY character on Bebop under the legal drinking age. And she rocks. HARD.

... yes, absolutely right about the personal taste issue, everyone has there own tastes and preference...

two things to consider, though... a considerate person would acknowledge anothers taste without belittling it, and if you give reasons for your preference... be consistant.

Would not DBZ fall under the catagory of "considerable youth"?

i have never watched cowboy bebop so i don't really have any comments on it but from what i heard is that it's a must see anime
