Yoko Kanno

Well, like most of the people here it seems, I love Yoko Kanno's music (Cowboy Bebop, Escaflowne, Macross Plus). I was wondering: does anyone know any other series/movies she's worked on other than those three? I know one of the members of her "band" is the main composer for Trigun (and you can tell, too :)), but other than that I'm unaware of any connections or work.

Yoko Kanno has pretty much gotten big since she did Macross Plus. As far as I know she has also done one of the ED songs from Turn A Gundam, and she also ocmposed all of the music on all of Maya Sakamoto's albums (she is the seiyuu for Hitomi from Escaflowne).

I know it sounds strange, but she actually has also worked with Orschestra Asia, writing some of the arrangements of old "folk" tunes and stuff like that.

Kawamori Shoji and Yoko Kanno are doing a new anime together. Again, just like they did for Escaflowne and Macross.

Oh, the anime is supposedly going to be called "Earth Girl Ajuna".
