Boohoo, she died today :{ I liked her, she was hot, and I thought her dubbed voice was one of the few good ones. This sucks :(

When I first watched that ep, I was very surprised. I was thinking she'd be an integral character, and lo and behold, she gets snuffed before we see 5 eps. She went out sooooo much cooler in the uncut, though.

Really? How? Was it the dialougue? BTW, what was with those Tao masters. I thought they were the main enemies, but they all died before the 5th episode too.

No, the emergence of the seven happens later. Those guys that died were lower on the totem pole. There are much more powerful ones still around. They don't show up till around halfway/two-thirds through I think. I don't have my disks with me to check right now.

Plus the MacDougal brothers are a persistent enemy as well.

No, after she told Gene to never give up, she bit down hard on some trigger in her mouth (like a tooth switch or something) and a big-ass explosion destroyed both her and the female Tao master. The things falling to the sun were the gangly bad guys with masks.

She was just a plot device to get Gene and company on the Outlaw Star. Her death served as a catylist to help get Gene to get over his fear of space. At least that's what I think.

I like Gene's 'Caster' I am assuming it's short for "Plasma Caster" heh heh, I've always wanted one of those!
