Has anyone ever seen this sweeeet Japanese cooking show called Iron Chef, (yes I know, not an anime but too bad!) Its pretty cool, it comes on at 10 on food network Fri. & Sat.

Ohhhhhhh! Does that show kick some major ass!! It's like the coolest ever. Did you see them spoof if on SNL last week? the secret engredient was shark heads. It was Iron Chef vs. American Bachelor Chef (Charlie Sheen) it was friggin hysterical.

I watch Iron Chef every now any then. My dad calls them animals because of when they shove their knifes into the tails of crabs and when they put them in the oven they're still wiggling around. That actress thats always on there sounds like she's on crack. But that guy that announces the main engriedent has some kick ass clothes.

They always pick squealy young actresses, some guy from their parliament, and other assorted people. The announce is cool...he's got flair.

I watch it when I get a chance. It's a pretty good show. I find the opening kind of strange for a show like that. The people who do the voice-overs...well what can I say, it's not the greatest but kind of funny. And yes, those clothes look cool. I liked the episode that took place in New York(I think) and had a competition with Bobby Flay. Japan Vs. America in the U.S. It was interesting!

OH MY GODDESS! I CAN"T BELIEVE I MISSED THIS THREAD! Ironchef is the best cooking show ever. I think I made a thread of this earlier but oh well. Iron Chef Italian Masahiko Kobé, he is the BEST! His chocolate pasta, mango pasta, other stuff. Hand made ravioli...that has to be my most fav food ever. I just love the show. I seen every episode and even taped the "New York" battle with Bobby Flay. Ingreadient there I think used was Rock crab.That show was so vivid. Well enough of this. I just love the show. That is all you kneed to know.

i have a really good question though... why is HE the only one who's subtitled? is it out of respect for him because he built Kitchen Stadium ? or is it because he asked nicely ?

Gaaah! Yeah i've seen that ep of SNL with Charlie Sheen^^ Darn funny^^.

Though i've never seen the Iron Chef show.. i don't have cable, even less american cable... though it seems cool^^.

The BEST SNL episode was the one with Sean Connery playing Jeopardy. He kept calling Alex Trebek's mom a slut and kept making fun of Alex calling him a sissy and threatening to kick his ass. The there was the question where Alex said "Just write a number and you win. There is no way to lose. Just write a number." Sean Connery wrote 7 and he bet "Alex is a big sissy." Then the next player wrote "Eleventeen" and he bet "Texas." Good god, that was funny as hell.

Anyway, Iron Chef is kinda cool, though I'd probably dislike all the food they cook on there. It all looks really wierd in my opinion.

What is it about always giving Japanese things the absolute crappiest dub jobs on the planet? Why can't they just hire decnt actors? :kaioken:
