Last night on outlaw star (at 6:30) did they show the wrong version? Because Gene swore at least once and jim said what the hell at the end.

It saves us from renting the tapes all over again...also gives me a baseline on how CN does/requires it's editing.

I hope that trend continues..but I noticed they edited out the blood from the wound Gene got while he was crawling away from the invaders...so...

I'm not going to stick my nose up and say its not good enough! At least they are showing some anime, even if they do edit it a lot. They also show it unedited at 12:30, and now I do not have to buy it or rent it (but in my case I can't becasue our video store doesn't have much anime)

Um actually its not UN-edited at all, the daytime version and night time versions are exactly the same, except they said "hell" a few times.. wwwoooowwww...

Yea both the day and night shows are the same. And I was thinking to myself when Jim took his hand away at the end and there was nothing on it... I was like... "um... o..k..." Then finally figured out there was suppose to be blood when they sorta hinted at it.

Blood and summin' else, I think. I mean, he was scared but slightly confused and wondering. He wouldn't be confused if there was blood in an open cut. ^^

However, reports I'm getting about Outlaw Star is that the editing seems a bit inconsistant. For instance, in today's episode (Jan. 23) the phrases "God damnit" and "what the hell" were uttered.

I was actually surprised with the swearing on CN.The gayest thing about it is that they swore yet there was no blood to be found.


The CN version really sucks.
