i usually feel like this every single time i finish watching any anime series/movie... but i really love the lain series...

for some reason, every time i see crying in any show, i think that the show is much greater.

there's so many great parts in the story.

i could relate to the character of lain.

i don't have many friends. and i usually only talk to one of my friends a little more out of the few friends i have.

on the episode: landscape, when arisu was searching for lain and that whole scene when they were feeling each other's heartbeats and how lain said that she loved arisu was so cool.

on the last episode: ego, when lain's "father" asks lain that deleting herself from everyone's memory was what she wanted and that he knew what she felt like after she did that. he said that she loved everyone and lain broke down crying. i felt like that was a great part of the story.

there's so many more scenes that i really liked in that series.

i liked all the other little things in the series too: art, music, other characters, etc.

i really didn't enjoy this series as much as watching it a 2nd time to get more out of it.

anyway that's how i feel about lain.

now all i have to do is find bear pajamas to sleep in... and i'll be the happiest kid in the block. maybe.

As with most awesome stories...Lain works on multiple levels. There's the "Big Picture" where the Wired and the real world are interacting and basically everyone's memories are at stake. Then there's the human element of Lain trying to sort out everything that's been going on in her "life". Just like Eva, stories that keep the human and big picture elements separate but interweaving are just bad-ass.

yea lain is definately one of the best animes out there. i would say its my second favorite only next to eva(im so typical, hehe) the ONLY reason i like eva better is because i felt MUCH more attached to tha chatacters, eva did the perfect job of portraying human life i think, but lain delivered the perfect story. lains story worked on so many levels it blows my mind, every single aspect of it can usually be looked at as a metaphor or something with deeper meaning than what is expected.
its great andeveryone needs to see it that hasnt

i like how it presented a bunch of views on life, and in the end, it kinda disproved them all.

Yeah, right away i related to lain....i don't know why, exactly, but i felt it from the awesome opening sequence. I haven't seen the entire series, tho. I like how lain isn't cover girl beautiful or busty too.

when i first started watching Serial Experiments Lain, i fell asleep each time. i don't know what it is, but if i haven't been up for atleast 58hrs, then i pass out while trying to watch it.

it took me three views of the entire thing to realize just how personal this story got to my everyday life... Wired excluded.
