ive only seen the first 10 episode of cb or else i could figure this out for myself. but is ed a boy or girl? cause i thought faye called it a girl once in episode 9. but they dont make anymore refrences to gender.

Well, in Session #11 Spike refers to Ed as a "her" (at least in the dub). However, I think your almost supposed to consider Ed an "it".

Wonder if that's some sort of statement on the future? That gender roles and biases will deconstruct and kids like Ed can be whatever they want to be?

I'm overanalyzing again........I think I read something about Ed once that was talking about that......wish I could remember.

I think Ed acts more feminine than masculine.I think she's just a crazy cute little girl who makes me laugh all the time.The way Ed laughs kind of gives it away too that she is a girl.

It's just so funny that the creators of Bebop made it almost impossible to tell until you see her act.
