How many volumes are there?

I'm just wondering because my dad likes Nadesico also and we want to go buy the whole series. How many tapes are there? So far I have the first four.

volumes 1 and 2 had 3 episodes and the rest have 2 episodes.If this rate continues,since the series is 26 episodes long,I would think that there would be 12 volumes.

I go by DVDs and there will be 7 (I think) (4 4 4 4 4 3 3). Tapes sounds about right for an ADV release
